My goal is to help each one of my students awaken a greater appreciation of their own power. Utilizing a physical yoga practice that encourages connection to inner fire, I dare my students to tap into and fire up their inner strength. While applying the discipline and joy of a strong yoga practice that builds and stretches the body, mind, and spirit, I aim to help students connect with their deepest, most unique selves, using a physical experience as a catalyst for joyful self-expression.
I strive to make my classes disciplined and inspirational, with a strong focus on alignment and sequencing, yet keeping it fun and juicy, with good music and a healthy dose of humor.
I believe in the adage that we should act as if what we are doing is the most important thing in the world, while realizing that it doesn’t matter at all.
I know that people would be a little happier if they would take the time to listen to loud rock and roll once a day, or to sing in the shower. I encourage my students to practice yoga as if they were home alone, and to live their lives authentically.
